... but I didn't mind sacrificing style for a traditional bonfire ... ... and city-wide fireworks that started before midnight and continued, in force, for an hour after.

Iceland and New York have both had 20-degree whether for the past few days -- and I believe that New York is colder than Iceland tonight -- so none of us felt too badly about bundling up. Plus, we'll warm up at the Blue Lagoon tomorrow. I wish you all the best in 2018!
